Well, I knew it. There is finally proof that some people are genetically predisposed to see the more negative aspects of the world; that people experience the world partly through “gene-coloured glasses”. And I would suggest, Lawrence, Mr. Positivity, that those kind of glasses are not easily changed! In fact, as this study suggests, some people are more predisposed to find the angry face in the crowd, or notice a place that one might slip or loose rocks that may fall, as opposed to experiencing the natural beauty of a place. Sure, but this would also suggest that some people (ie you Lawrence) are more predisposed to NOT notice such hazards, even when they exist. So, ahem, you may want to watch out for yourself a little more, Lawrence. Hazards are everywhere. Just saying.
